1:26 pm. That's when the message was left on our phone today that a little girl has been assigned to us. I was at home and missed the call, but listened to the message soon after it was recorded. After a joyful fist pump and a leaping heart, I called Julie, who was at the church finishing up her Spanish class. She zipped home and called our adoption caseworker at Bethany to get the first bit of information on our daughter.
Her name is Ning Kang Ping. She was born June 10, 2005.
Tomorrow we will go to our agency's office and receive more information about her, including pictures. I will post them soon to share with all of you.

Yvonne and I are so happy for the both of you! Such a joy to finally have it happen! Our neice and her husband will be going to Russia this month (for the last time) to bring home Vera, born 12-25-05, if I recall correctly!GOD BLESS ALL THREE OF YOU!
