Packing's almost done. Just a few more things to get squared away in my suitcase and backpack. Today we need to run through the paperwork one more time to make sure everything is in order. We also plan to make some video and audio recordings of Julie and Lily talking to Aidan. When we went to receive Lily, we played a cassette recording of Julie talking and singing to Lily which we played every night at bedtime. Hearing Julie's voice seemed to be helpful in recognizing Julie when Lily got home here in the US, so we thought we'd do this again for Aidan. This time, we also plan to make some video, since I'll be taking my laptop along.
Plus, while Lily's napping today, I'm going to make a recording of some of my "famous" bedtime stories for her to listen to while I'm gone. Dad's stories are much better than Mom's. Mom will admit that, and Lily will certainly give you her opinion on that.
