It's Saturday, March 21, 7 am here. I thought I was in the clear with this whole jet lag thing. After being up for 28 hours while in transit (with just a few cat naps), I went to bed early Friday morning around 1 am but didn't sleep a real sound sleep. Last night, I hit the sack around 8:30 and went right to sleep. Victory! Or so I thought. I was wide awake at 11 pm. I laid there and laid there, trying to get back to sleep, but to no avail. It didn't help that my mind was racing about all the upcoming events here. Around 2 am I picked up a book and read for a bit, and around 3 am the eyelids started to get heavy again. The next time I awoke, it was 6:30 am, and here I am. The breakfast buffet and the coffee are calling my name.
Just a clarification on one of the pictures in the last post. Don't let me give you the impression that Jan and I flew business class. We were in coach. That was just the nearest sign with the name of our airline on it (which was Hainan Airlines, by the way).
I received a fax yesterday from our Bethany liaison here in China which gave us a more detailed account of our agenda. One of her assistants will be contacting us here soon and the plan is to receive Aidan at 2:30 pm on Monday, March 23. That will be 11:30 pm on Sunday night back on the West Coast.

Ibuprofen or Tylenol Night caps... they will assist your sleep pattern. Just take them 30 minutes from bed time.
We are following along on your trip I'm not too tech savy so I'm the one with all of the misc. letters for the user maybe Darrell can fix that.
